Mike Wernette and Tracey Porter successfully defended against a fraudulent transfer claim, getting the claim dismissed at trial on a directed verdict motion. After the close of the plaintiff’s evidence in a Wayne County bench trial, Mike and Tracey identified weaknesses in the plaintiff’s case and brought a defense motion to knock out the plaintiff’s fraudulent transfer claim, saving the client’s business from being saddled with a huge debt.
