Jason L. Weiner Earns Title of Fellow, INSOL International

In June 2018, Jason L. Weiner successfully completed INSOL International’s Global Insolvency Practice Course (GIPC) https://www.insol.org/gpic/ . INSOL International is a world-wide association of insolvency, restructuring, and bankruptcy professionals.   Mr. Weiner was selected as one of 19 applicants from around the world to participate in the 2017-2018 GIPC. Upon completion of this post-graduate certification program, he earned the title of Fellow, INSOL International. As a Fellow, Mr. Weiner joins an elite group of restructuring and insolvency professionals who have earned this special designation.

During the GIPC, Mr. Weiner learned about insolvency systems around the globe, and gained the tools necessary to help clients navigate the complexities of cross-border insolvencies – including the use of Chapter 15 of the Bankruptcy Code to preserve and protect assets. In addition, Mr. Weiner developed lasting friendships with the other professionals in his class – from Cayman, to the UK, to France, Nigeria, Australia, Hong Kong, and many places in between – upon whom he can call at a moment’s notice.

Mr. Weiner regularly represents, and understands the complexities of representing, court appointed fiduciaries, including federal and state court receivers, and can help maximize results for the benefit of the estate and its creditors – within and outside of the United States.
