Schafer and Weiner Engaged as Counsel for Unsecured Creditors Committee in Bridgeport, Connecticut

On May 30, 2014, Latex Foam International, LLC, Purelatex Bliss, LLC, Latex Foam International Holdings, LLC and Latex Foam Assets Acquisition, LLC filed for relief under Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Connecticut, Bridgeport Division.  Collectively, the companies are the world’s largest Talalay Latex producer, producing high quality mattresses, pillows and toppers and working with mattress manufacturers and retailers to sell latex bedding products around the world.  Schafer and Weiner was hired by the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors on June 23, 2014 to represent the Committee in all aspects of the Chapter 11 cases.  Schafer and Weiner represents unsecured creditors’ committees across the county in a wide variety of industries, including manufacturing, automotive, and building supply.
