PROFESSIONAL PROFILE
Mr. Borin provides creative solutions to complex insolvency and bankruptcy issues for many clients of Schafer and Weiner. From out of court workouts to complex Chapter 11 proceedings, Mr. Borin handles every aspect of the client’s needs. Mr. Borin has conducted numerous trial and evidentiary hearings in state, federal and bankruptcy courts. Mr. Borin joined Schafer and Weiner as an associate in 1996 and became a partner in 2001. Mr. Borin attended Wayne State University for his first year of law school, where he was third in his class. Mr. Borin then transferred to the University of Michigan Law School. Before joining Schafer and Weiner, Mr. Borin worked in the pre-hearing division of the Michigan Court of Appeals.
