PROFESSIONAL PROFILE
Todd Schafer has a unique blend of bankruptcy law and commercial litigation experience. He represents and advises individual and corporate clients alike in a multitude of areas including: creditor workouts, reorganizations, insolvency, creditor rights, and business planning. Mr. Schafer graduated from Wayne State University Law School in 2005 and joined Schafer and Weiner, PLLC immediately thereafter. Mr. Schafer has extensive experience in representing both debtors and creditors in state court and bankruptcy court. Mr. Schafer specializes in complex insolvency matters.
Prior to joining S&W, Mr. Schafer gained valuable experience clerking for U.S. District Court Judge Hon. Avern Cohen in 1999 and U.S. Representative Sander Levin in 2000. Mr. Schafer comes from an extensive legal background and is the son of Arnold Schafer, a founding partner of Schafer and Weiner, PLLC.
