- Filed an involuntary petition to force Detroit Center Tool, Inc. (DCT) into involuntary bankruptcy proceedings, then represented chapter 7 trustee to untangle interwoven assets of its many affiliates and shell companies set up by its majority shareholder. Our team convinced the bankruptcy judge to substantively consolidate the affiliates, then, we litigated successfully to seize the shell companies' assets, providing lending to unsecured creditors with a significant distribution even in liquidation.
- Acted for a chapter 7 trustee in involuntary bankruptcy of a large, grey iron foundry as a Tier Two automotive supplier.
- Represented a trust mortgage trustee in liquidating the assets of a Tier Two automotive supplier. Our firm spearheaded the sale of the business for going concern value, and successfully distributed these proceeds to creditors.
