Ryan Heilman has a proven record of excellence in
handling bankruptcy reorganizations, commercial
litigation and appellate matters.
Heilman graduated magna cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School in 2001. While at the University of
Michigan Law School, Heilman was elected a member of
the Order of the Coif and clerked for a special program to
assist indigent clients in various legal matters.
Heilman
was also a law clerk in the Denver offices of the multi-national law firm
Arnold & Porter before joining Schafer and Weiner as a bankruptcy attorney
and commercial litigator.
A National Merit Scholar, Heilman attended the University of Toledo where he
graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in psychology. Heilman also
spent one college term in Luneberg, Germany, where he studied German politics,
language, and culture.
