Jason L. Weiner Selected as Panelist at 2018 NAFER Offshore Insolvency & Asset Recovery Conference in Chicago

On July 27, 2018, Jason L. Weiner attended the 2018 NAFER (National Association of Federal Equity Receivers) Offshore Insolvency & Asset Recovery Conference in Chicago. Mr. Weiner co-presented on intermediary bank discovery – a unique and extremely useful tool to discover offshore wire transfers.

The Conference highlighted key cross-border insolvency issues including comparing offshore insolvency and restructuring options with Chapter 11, COMI (Center of Main Interest) shifting and related offensive and defensive tactics, cost-effective offshore asset tracing and recovery, and international cryptocurrency issues.

Mr. Weiner is a Fellow of INSOL International and a full member of NAFER, and regularly represents, and understands the complexities of representing, federal and state court appointed fiduciaries, including receivers. He can help court fiduciaries navigate those complexities, and maximize results for the benefit of the estate and its creditors – within and outside of the United States.
