John J. Stockdale, Jr. Negotiates Collection Agreement

Following the acquisition of a failing auto supplier’s accounts receivable and other business assets in a Uniform Commercial Code Article 9 sale, John Stockdale, Jr. helped the purchaser negotiate a collection agreement with the debtor’s former factoring company. While the factoring company’s liens on the accounts receivable were discharged by the Article 9 sale, the purchaser concluded that partnering with the factoring company would generate efficiencies in collection realization. With John’s help, the purchaser now realizes more money more quickly.
