Joseph Grekin and Jason Weiner Admitted as Full Members of the National Association of Federal Equity Receivers

In February 2016, the National Association of Federal Equity Receivers (“NAFER”) admitted Joseph Grekin and Jason Weiner as full members. NAFER is a member-only organization that selectively admits attorneys who have served as primary counsel for receivers appointed at the request of a Federal agency. The Schafer and Weiner team represents Charles (Chip) Hoebeke as court-appointed receiver over Evans Tempcon, Inc. in Grand Rapids, MI (“Evans”). Mr. Hoebeke was appointed as receiver over Evans at the request of the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation.  NAFER also offers membership to those who have been appointed as equity receivers by a Federal agency, to professionals who provide support services to federal equity receivers, to sitting and retired Federal Judges and Magistrates, and to individuals within the U.S. regulatory agencies. As members of NAFER, the Schafer and Weiner team now has access to the resources of an exclusive community focused on the efficient and effective operation and management of federal equity receiverships.
