Joseph Grekin and Tracey Porter Successfully Opposed the Lender’s Motion to Amend Its Witness List to Include Additional Witnesses

In a lawsuit brought by a lender against Schafer and Weiner’s client seeking to enforce promissory notes, guaranties and mortgages, Joseph Grekin and Tracey Porter successfully opposed the lender’s motion to amend its witness list to include additional witnesses. The lender intended the proposed witnesses to testify at trial relating to subjects on which the Court previously held questions of fact existed, necessitating a trial. The Oakland County Circuit Court issued a ruling on November 1, 2013 denying the lender’s motion to amend.
