Schafer and Weiner File Chapter 11 for a Macomb County Retail Mall

Daniel J. Weiner and John Stockdale, Jr. helped a seventeen-unit, retail mall file for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on the eve of a foreclosure sale. The mall was suffering from the results of coronavirus pandemic as customers were not shopping, tenants were slow paying their rent, and the mall fell behind with its mortgage lender. Through the bankruptcy case, the mall plans to restructure its mortgage lender and continue its business.
