Schafer and Weiner, PLLC Closes Sale of South Carolina McDonald’s Franchises

In late August, John Stockdale, Jr. spearheaded the confirmation of the Debtor’s plan of liquidation in In re Dream Big Restaurants, LLC in the Bankruptcy Court for the District of South Carolina. Consistent with the confirmed plan, the Debtor sold its remaining seven McDonald’s franchises in Greenville and Greer, South Carolina to McDonald’s corporate in an above-market transaction. John worked with the Debtor, McDonald’s, and its counsel to successfully close the sale, which made the Debtor’s confirmed plan effective.
