Baum and John Stockdale, Jr. filed subchapter V chapter 11 cases for SD Import, LLC and Select Distributors, LLC on July 6, 2021, in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. The Debtors collectively operate an import and wholesale business involving novelty products including vape pens. On July 12, 2021, the Debtors were granted the use of cash collateral and the cases were jointly administered, paving the way toward a successful reorganization.
